Document Description
The Project involves the rehabilitation or replacement by trenchless and open trench installation of existing sewer pipelines to reduce storm water intrusion and amount of sewer flows discharged to the Point Loma Wastewater Treatment Plan. Pipeline segments that can be rehabilitated will be relined rather than replaced. Some pipeline segments may require relocation for better hydraulics or easier maintenance access. Manholes will also be rehabilitated or replaced, depending on conditions. One segment of approx. 250 feet of new pipe will be installed using trenchless techniques.
