Document Description
Repair a washed-out section of Shoreline Trail in China Camp State Park to restore the trail and improve public safety. Work will: Excavate a 30-foot long by four-foot deep by two-foot wide trench; Place up to 150 tons of stone and gravel to construct an approximately 30-foot long by 8-foot high gabion retaining wall; Restore the trail tread; and Remove a small temporary bypass trail by regrading the three-foot wide section to the original slope and covering with brush. All work will be performed per the guidelines of the California State Parks Trails Handbook. No natural or cultural resources will be adversely impacted by this project.
