San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District will implement their Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) regional readiness Plan. Activities include: developing and using strategic siting resources, completing electric vehicle supply equipment site assessments, efforts to increase consumer acceptance of ZEVs and fleet adoption of medium-and heavy-duty ZEVs in the Central Coast.

This project involves planning, coordination, and outreach activities and does not result in physical changes to the environment. Local entities will be required to comply with CEQA for any physical changed to the environment at the time of Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) infrastructure installation. The activities funded under this project include establishing a ZEV website, making recommendations as to sitting for future ZEV infrastructure installations, developing plans for fleets to transition to electric vehicles, community workshops and other outreach, and safety training seminars. Therefore, this project has no potential to cause a significant environmental impact.
