Document Description
The CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0427-R1, pursuant to Section1 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, The City of Arcata as represented by Mr. Mark Andre. The project consists of one encroachment for enhancement of Jacoby Creek and its floodplain, including: Restoration of floodplain connectivity by breaching an existing levee. Construction of a guide berm to prevent fish stranding and flood control. Construction of seasonal shallow digressional wetlands. Construction of additional off-channel fish habitat via excavation of a new channel network. Planting of riparian vegetation including construction of wetland planting islands within the larger wetland complex.
