Document Description
Antelope Valley-East Kern Water Agency (AVEK) will pump-in up to 26,000 acre-feet of local groundwater originating from wells in the AVEK service area in Reaches 18A through 22B. DWR will accept and convey the local groundwater into the California Aqueduct from January 1, 2017 - December 31, 2020. To increase AVEK's supply reliability and water quality, additional water sources are required.
