Escuela Popular has a school charter for elementary, middle, and high school programs with two locations within the Eastside Union High School District in the city of San Jose. The project proposes modifications to the former Pala School site to accommodate additional students and consolidate the Escuela Popular Academy TK-8 and high school programs on one site. The proposed project would demolish four classrooms in three buildings. The proposed project also includes the installation of two parking lots, the relocation of playground equipment, and the reconfiguration of the sports field.
