Document Description
Calaveras County, in conjunction with Caltrans and FHWA, intends to replac ean existing low water crossing with a bridge on Hogan Dam Road at Bear Creek. Hogan Dam Road can become impassable due to seasonal high flows in Bear Crek resulting in a 20+ mile detour. The new bridge will provide an all weather crossing of the creek and wil laccommodate the traveled way, shoulders, and barriers construcction of the proposed bridge is planned to commence in spring 2018 or later. Project duration is expected to be on season, but could extend to two seasoons due to regulatory limitations on work periods.
