Document Description
Demolition of a two-story, approximately 38,700 sf retail and office building. Construction of an 18-story, 211,590 sf mixed use building. On the ground floor, the proposed building would have commercial retail space with a floor area of approximately 10,000 sf that would front on the BART Plaza and wrap around to Allston Way. The applicant anticipates that Walgreens would return to the site after construction and occupy the ground-floor retail space. On the upper floors, the building would have 274 apartment units, ranging in size from studios to two-bedroom units. The upper floors would step back from Shattuck Avenue. Motor vehicle parking would be provided in a two-level underground garage with 103 parking spaces.
