Caltrans, in cooperation with the Riverside county Transportation Commission, and the City of Lake Elsinore, proposes improvements to the I-15/Railroad Canyon Road interchange and the construction of a new interchange 0.22 mile north of the existing I-15 Franklin Street overcrossing. The proposed project would reconstruct the existing Railroad Canyon Road interchange and construct a new four lane overcrossing/interchange approximately 1,160 feet north of the existing Franklin Street overcrossing.
