Document Description
The City of Roseville, as the Lead Agency, has approved the Energy Recovery Project (ERP) at the Pleasant Grove Wastewater Treatment Plant (PGWWTP). The ERP will produce [biomethane] fuel for solid waste trucks, generate electricity, and provide heating for the anaerobic digesters. The ERP is related to the Expansion Project, referenced in the Lead Agency's California Environmental Quality Act Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration and addendum to the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (CEQA Documents). The Energy Commission has reviewed the CEQA Documents and has approved grant funding for portions of the ERP related to biomethane production.
