Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District proposes to construct and operate the Post Road Hydro-Pneumatic Booster Pumping Station and Transmission Pipeline Project (Project). The Project intends to increase low pressures in the higher elevations of the Good Hope II 1832 Pressure Zone (PZ 1832) and provide for a proposed 1910 Pressure Zone (PZ 1910). The BPS will be constructed on an access road, previously acquired by Eastern for the future Post Road Tank Project (future tank to replace existing Ellis Tank). The BPS consists of a hydro pneumatic tank, building to house the booster pumps, mechanical piping and required appurtenances. The Pipelines would include approx. 2,400 feet of parallel 18-inch diameter steel supply pipeline along Post Road and approx. 3,000 feet of 8-inch diameter PVC transmission pipeline along Ellis Ave., connecting from the existing Ellis Tank, continuing east to Meadow Lane.
