Note: Reference SCH #2016019010 Upgrade seven existing water storage tanks on six different sites located throughout the District. These tanks are the water storage system for the entire RID, providing water for residential and commercial uses as well as emergency purposes such as fire suppression. The proposed project will improve the reliability and safety of the RID's water system by reducing leakage, installing equipment that meets modern seismic safety standards, creates system redundancy, and improves worker safety.
