Document Description
Proposal to demolish & remove two large holding tanks (approx. 4,350,000 gallons each) once used by the US Navy to store jet fuel, one approx. 131,600 gallon water tank, all piping attached to the tanks, pumps & both exposed & underground piping behind the pump house building structure, & approx. 24 yards of shot-crete located along a center berm between the two large Navy tanks & the berm between the pump house & tanks. Primary staging area (for equipment and waiting trucks) to be located between the southern Navy tank & Panorama Dr; secondary staging area (for equipment and pump removal) near entrance to the project site, adjacent to Panorama Dr. Would require some level of disturbance over approx. 8 acres of the 10.6 acre site. Project expected to require 1.5 to 2 months to complete.
