Document Description
Project Geology will drill one hole outside the embankment of Del Valle Dam in order to collect data. Drilling will be conducted using a CME 75 or similar rig, and water cooling of the drill bit will be supplied by a 1,000 gallon water truck. Once the drilling has been completed, the hole will be grouted from the bottom of the hole to within two feet of the surface. The remaining two feet will be filled with native soils.
