The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to regulatory authority granted under the California Health and Safety code, Chapter 6.8, sections 25323.1 and 25356.1, is approving the draft remedial action plan for Operable Unit 2 (OU-2) of the former BKK Carson Landfill, a.k.a. Victoria Golf Course/Former BKK Carson Landfill. The draft RAP addresses soil and soil gas media and recommends engineering, monitoring and institutional controls for risk and hazard management. Implementation of the engineering and institutional controls is expected to take six months to a year
