Document Description
The proposed project is the construction, use and maintenance of a new 58,005 sf charter school (K-8th) serving 616 students in a new three story building. Parking will be provided across the adjoining alley in an existing surface parking lot to be repaved and restriped. A total of 90 vehicular parking spaces are proposed. Forty-eight of which will be reserved for the adjoining Bank of America facility. Forty-two spaces will be reserved for the proposed charter school. Parking will be accessed from the alley. The ingress and egress for drop-off and pick-up for students will occur from a new driveway accessed from 88th St and existing at 87th St. The project is requesting a Zoning Administrators Adjustment to permit a floor area ratio of 1.64:1 in lieu of the otherwise permitted 1.5:1.
