Reference SCH# 2002041009. The Hollywood Community Plan Update (Proposed Plan) proposes updates to land use policies and the land use diagram. The land use diagram represents changes to land use designations and zoning to address changes that have occurred since the adopted 1988 plan and accommodate forecasted housing, population, and employment growth. Proposed land use diagram changes are composed of land use designation and zoning changes, inclusive of height districts. These changes can be categorized as 1) increases and decreases in allowable density and intensity and 2) land use designation and zoning consistency corrections. The land area affected by the proposed changes represents approx. 7 percent (approx. 1,000 of roughly 13,961 acres) of the total Community Plan Area.
