Merced County proposes to replace the Kibby Road Bridge structure (Bridge No. 39C-0350) over Bear Creek, located approximately 0.5 miles east of the City of Merced, and 1.25 miles north of SR 140 in Merced County, CA. The existing bridge was built in 1972 and consists of two vehicle lanes, one in the northbound direction and one in the southbound direction. The project would replace the existing bridge with a 2 lane bridge in a similar configuration.
