Document Description
Amendment to Blosser Bio-retention facility to expand existing drainage channel to intercept urban storm water runoff. Refined project updates design to address future maintenance concerns by removing check walls and stilling basins. Refined project accomplishes Low Impact Development functions: slowing, infiltrating, and filtering storm water through use of storm drain inlets leading to approx 600 lf of underground bio-retention chambers located under the widened channel slope. New landscaping, dog park and pocket park will be incorporated into the project. Project will result in total footprint disturbance of approx 3.5 acres and reduces soil export from 23,700 cy to 10,625 cy.
