Document Description
The proposed project involves the repair of the public artwork titled "Riparium" located in the northeast corner of Ruocco Park in the City of San Diego. The public artwork consists of Eucalyptus tree branches interconnected with steel splice plates that are suspended above a pedestrian plaza by a system of 53 stainless steel cables attached to the top of four steel masts with bronze thimbe-clamps. In 2015, one of the 53 stainless steel cables that support the branches failed, causing damage to a small section of the suspended branches
