The City of Solvang proposes to update the combined Conservation/Open Space Element and Safety Element of their General Plan. The changes include updating the Conservation/Open Space Element and Safety Element to promote a balanced management of natural, historical and cultural resources and to help minimize the risk to life and property from natural and human-caused hazards within the City's Plan Area. These elements are intended to have a beneficial impact on the environment with respect to the protection of sensitive resources and the protection of life and property.
