Document Description
Trabuco Canyon Water District (TCWD or District) proposes to construct a replacement to their damaged raw water pipeline in an alternative location. The existing 16-inch raw water pipeline serves as a main artery and supplies 3.8 million gallons of water for firefighting purposes and as drinking water to 4,000 existing homes and businesses after treatment through the District's existing Dimension Drive Water Treatment Plant. The existing pipeline is in imminent threat of failure from damages suffered during the federally declared disaster, DR-1952-CA, Severe Winter Storms, Flooding, and Debris and Mud flows which it suffered between Dec. 17, 2010 and January 4, 2011.
