Document Description
The proposed project includes the construction of a new well to serve the City of Porterville, the construction of new distribution pipelines, the abandonment of two existing wells, and the consolidation of the Akin Water Company into the City of Porterville Water System. The new well, located on city-owned property, will be 16 inches in diameter, 710 feet deep, and provide up to 2,000 gallons per minute (gpm) capacity. The proposed distribution pipelines will connect into the existing City of Porterville water system in various locations within the city limits of Porterville.
