Document Description
The Proposed Action/Project would allow water to move against gravity from the Western Distribution System (WDS) supplied by the existing lift station (TID Lift #1) to the Eastern Distribution System (EDS) supplied by the existing lift station (TID Lift #2), by physically connecting the two distribution systems within the District. (Figures 1-1 and 1-2). The proposed intertie pipeline would reduce the District's existing 2.7 mile conveyance path through earthen canals for water deliveries during annual winter periods, between the months of October through March. The nine acre solar site would provide power to the District.
