Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0013-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the California Department of Transportation. The proposed project includes the following activities: Clean/Vactor culverts at PMs 38.67, 39.08, 39.23, 39.37, 40.12, and 42.37. All work will occur from the road using a vactor truck. No vegetation will be removed; repair pipe downdrains at PMs 40.09 and PM 40.12. The 24-inch pipes will be repaired using hand tools and access will be by foot. At PM 40.09, approximately 2 yards of sediment will be removed; install approximately 20 yards of ¼ ton of rock slope protection at PM 41.33; remove sediment from channel at PM 42.77. Approximately 10 yards of sediment will be removed at this location. Work will occur when the channel is dry and no woody vegetation will be impacted by this project. An area of 15 feet by 15 feet will be impacted to access the work area; repair dike and eroded slope at PM 44.45. A back hoe and dump truck will be used to remove and replace the asphalt dike adjacent to the roadway. The road edge will be lined with approximately 2 yards of RSP and 2 cubic feet asphalt dike will be installed.
