The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) are proposing a small salmonid habitat restoration project located on the Nature conservancy property. Two to four small wood structures will be created using <12-inch" dbh logs keyed into the bank, root wads and brush. These structures will be placed under the supervision of a CDFW geomorphologist and habitat restoration experts to create cover and depth in the creek for the benefit of salmonids.
