Document Description
The project is limited to the replacement of a partially collapsed 42-inch by 25-foot long corrugated metal pipe culvert with a new culvert of the same size on Summit Drive in Burlingame, San Mateo County. The culvert is situated under the road within cement walls one other side of the creek which will remain and be protected in place during construction. The existing culvert will be excavated with a backhoe, the area trenched and the new culvert will be placed in the same location. A cofferdam and bypass pumping system consisting of a small pump with a maximum flow rate of 25 gallons per minute that would start and stop based on a floating device will be used to divert the creek around the project site. A hose will be used to bypass the work area. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2015-0329-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
