Document Description
Caltrans proposes to conduct culvert work along SR 70 in Butte and Plumas Counties. The purpose of the proposed project is to repair and replace culverts in accordance with current requirements, as well as construct new drainage facilities where appropriate. Work would consist of the repair, replacement, upgrading, and/or installation of culverts and inlet/outlet treatments. Staging would occur within Caltrans right-of-way. The project would require permits from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (404), CDFW (1600), and the Regional Water Quality Control Board (401). Temporary Construction Easements would be required for work activities outside of Caltrans Right-of-Way. A permanent easement may be required for the new culvert at PM 42.11.
