Document Description
The project is limited to mainteance of an existing diversion structure installed in 2012 without permit authorization, as well as the diversion of water, pursuant to a valid water right. A backhoe was used to install 2-36" diameter concrete seep wells within the floodplain of Carr Creek. The wells are approximately 20' deep and are used to pump subsurface flow to a 2600 gallon holding tank outside of the floodplain. Water is pumped from late October through late June, ending by July 1. Minimal vegetation removal occurred with the construction of the project. The current basis of right is a riparian water right.
