Document Description
Proposed project consists of replacing the existing Woodward Island Ferry and timber ramps with a fixed bridge, containing a removable span, across Middle River just north of the existing ferry location. The existing ferry approach ramps are structurally deficient, and the new bridge structure would accommodate the anticipated farming and East Bay Municipal Utility District equipment. The State Lands Commission action is an approval of a 25-year General Lease - Public Agency Use through August 16, 2042.
