Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2015-0141-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game code to Mr. Nicholas Valdovinos. The project consisted of trenching in the existing unpaved roadway, placing two 24-inch corrugated steel metal pipes (CMP) below grade to convey flow, then placing and compacting soil to the existing grade. Concrete sacks were placed around the CMP and on roadway banks to serve as riprap and bank stabilization. An excavator, backhoe, and shovels were used to complete the construction. The purpose of this project was to build a bridge and to improve the flow of water through an un-named stream at the existing unpaved roadway. The permittee, prior to execution of a streambed alteration Agreement had completed the project. After meeting with CDFW staff, the Permittee was required to remove all the evidence of the construction from the un-named stream. A notification was subsequently submitted for the project.
