Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2015-0349-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Chris Elias/Santa Clara Valley Water District.
The purpose of the project is remove a total of 14 dead trees that are considered hazard trees due to their close proximity to infrastructure and human activities. The trees on Saratoga Creek consist of eleven dead cottonwood and two dead alder trees, measuring 12-22 inches in diameter-at-breast-height (dbh). The tree on Guadalupe River is a dead alder tree, measuring 24 inches dbh.
