Document Description
The project is a proposal to connect the North Davis Meadows (NDM) community drinking water system to the City of Davis; water distribution system in order to address reported contaminant levels in the NDM drinking water. The intent of the proposed project is to meet the domestic potable water demands for the NDM community that would be served by the City of Davis water system in order to satisfy the requirements of Compliance Orders Nos. 12-09 and CC0001107 for addressing excessive leels of nitrates and hexavalent chromium. Residential landscaping and gold course irrigation demands would continue to be met by the existing groundwater system and were not considered in the Environmental Initial Study.
