Document Description
CDFW has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0243-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Caltrans, District 3.
Project is limited to the collection of instream borings using a barge mounted drill in order to provide subsurface geological information for the larger Tower Bridge Fender Replacement Project. A barge and tow boat will be launched from Natomas Park boat ramp and drilling operations will occur at 4 designated locations in the wetted Sacramento River channel, alongside the Tower Bridge. The geotechnical investigation will temporarily impact 19.63 sq. in. (0.14 sq. ft.) of the riverbed. This Agreement covers the geotechnical investigations only and shall not be used for the construction of the larger project.
