Document Description
The main priority of this project is to replace the existing bridge structures with a new bridge along the section of Midway that crosses Butte Creek. The proposed new bridge will replace both existing structures on the current, existing alignment. A second permanent structure will be required to preserve access to the agricultural fields that will be cut off once the new bridge spans from levee to levee. The segment of Midway will be closed to traffic during construction. Traffic will be detoured to the west to use Aguas Frias Rd for north-south travel parallel the segment of Midway Rd under construction with the bridge replacement project. Overhead and underground public utilities owned by PG&E, Sprint, and AT&T located within the project limits will require temporary relocation.
