Document Description
The Project outline's California's State Implementation Plan commitment and identifies the proposed measures for mobile sources and consumer products needed to attain health-based federal air quality standards over the next 15 years. These measures, in combination with the current control program, will reduce mobile source NOX emissions 80 percent from today's levels in the critical South Coast air basin by 2031. The State SIP Strategy will also provide significant benefits in the San Joaquin Valley, as well as state-wide.
