Document Description
The project is limited to five encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from an unnamed tributary to the Eel River. Water is diverted for irrigation. Work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. Three other proposed encroachments are to upgrade or permit culverts at road/stream crossings. The final encroachment will permit reconstruction of a pond outlet. Reconstruction will include replacement of the spillway and compaction of the fill berm. Work for these encroachments will include excavation, removal of the existing culvert, replacement with new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
