Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIR) to address the potential environmental effects associated with implementing the proposed Goetz Road Potable Water Storage Tank and Transmission Pipeline Project (Proposed Project). The Proposed Project would involve construction and operation of an 8 million gallon (MG) potable water storage tank, a chlorination facility, other associated facilities, and a transmission pipeline. The proposed water storage tank and chlorination facility would be constructed on a 2.85-acre parcel owned by EMWD located in the City of Perris. A new transmission pipeline is proposed within undeveloped land and Thornton Avenue in the City of Menifee to connect the new water storage tank to the existing 1627 transmission pipeline within Murrieta Road.
