Document Description
Project involves one encroachment; excavate and relocate accumulated gravel from the box culvert crossing at Post Mile 49.66 on SR 128 to improve channel capacity and reduce flooding potential. Specific project components include : a) heavy equipment operations will be restricted to the road, shoulder and specific channel reaches immediately downstream of the crossing, b) gravel removal and will be restricted to areas under the adjacent to the box culvert, c) gravel will be relocated to downstream reaches and/or to an area(s) where it cannot re-enter streams or adversely impact a sensitive species or habitat and d) riparian vegetation impacts will be limited to small trees, trimming limbs from large trees, and maneuvering over seedlings.
