Document Description
The project entails several activities to enhance habitat, improve pedestrian circulation and access and add slope protection outfalls surrounding the Charleston Retention Basin in the City of Mountain View, Santa Clara County. Project activities include realignment and improvement of the existing pedestrian path that surrounds the retention basin, removal of 142 parking stalls to facilitate habitat enhancement, construction of two pedestrian bridges over the retention basin, two boardwalks and an overlook. In addition to these improvements, several outfalls will be rehabilitated and a habitat enhancement plan will be implemented to expand wetland and riparian habitats on the project site. Pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, CDFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0246-R3 to the Permittee, Google, Inc.
