Document Description
Evaluation of four alternatives to improve JSD's ability to meet regulatory requirements for wastewater treatment. Alternatives 1 & 2 at the present WWTP (3.8 acres) along Wood's Creek SE of Jamestown would provide either secondary (Alt. 1) or tertiary (Alt 2) treatment. Alternatives #3 & 4 at JSD's vacant Quartz property (63 acres) adjacent to Tuolumne Utility District's (TUD)'s Quartz Reservoir in Stent would provide either secondary (Alt 3) or tertiary (Alt 4) treatment. Alternatives 3&4 would include relocation of the existing administration offices from Main St. in Jamestown to the Quartz site. Alternatives 1 & 3 would use TUD's RWQCB Waste Discharge permit. JSD would acquire a new discharge permit under Alts 2 & 4.
