Document Description
The River Vista project proposes one mile trail extending the length of the project area along an existing gravel road. The trail will be approximately 3,800 linear feet in length, eight-feet wide, and allow for hiking and biking. There will be four main natural overlook areas for scenic vistas. One of the overlooks will be located at the southern end of the trail adjacent to a natural overlook areas for scenic vistas. One of the overlooks will be located at the southern end of the trail adjacent to a planned emergency vehicle turnaround. There will also be a 27 vehicle parking lot and two bus/recreational vehicle stalls located within an area that has been previously disturbed by past land uses. The project also includes the removal of the derelict bridge remnants within the San Joaquin River channel.
