Document Description
A conditional use permit to allow the operation of a Therapeutic Riding Center to service Handi-Riders of Northern California on a portion of the subject parcel. Handi-Riders serve clients with disabilities by providing therapeutic riding classes on a regular schedule. Handi-Riders currently proposes to operate and maintain up to ten horses in the existing improvements and stables/paddocks. Handi-Riders therapeutic riding classes include up to four students, with four to twelve volunteers, one registered instructor, and one student instructor. Three to four volunteers are required per client and horse. The total number of participants per class is up to 20 to 25 people per class; this includes parents or guardians who observe.
