Document Description
Construction and subsequent maintenance of a system of new flood control channels designed to accept flows from the Sun City Palm Desert's flood control channels and convey them to Sun City Shadow Hills via an approximately 3.3-mile alignment with an approximately 60-acre footprint. The project has been designed with a combination of concrete-lined rectangular channels, concrete-lined trapezoidal channels, and box culverts. The project also proposes access roads and chain link fencing on both sides of the channels.
