Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB), as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The California American Water Company proposed project is to add the existing Ambler Oaks Well as a new source of supply to the existing Ambler Park Treatment Plant and service area. Monterey County developed a Memorandum of Understanding that will require California American Water Company to balance the volume of treated water sent from the Ambler Park Water System to the Oaks Residential Subdivision and the volume of raw water sent from the Oaks Residential Subdivision's well to the Ambler Park Water System; the result would be an equal amount of water being exchanged.
