Document Description
Project work includes habitat restoration, enhancement and hedgerow planting within three distinct, sub-fenced units of the C&R Ranch. All three subunits lay along an intermittent stream that flows through the center of the ranch. Project work entails the planting and establishment of native trees, shrubs, grasses and wetland plants that will be collected from similar habitats found within the local area. Included in these planting efforts will be the installation of a 2,000' hedgerow and related irrigation system that will include the installation of several narrow, trenches. A wildlife-friendly cattle exclusion fence along riparian areas draining to an in place reservoir will be installed along with biodegradable weed mats to control invasive plant species.
