The project consists of a new stand alone 25,582 sf, two story wellness center (the Robert Maloff Center of Excellence - "COE") and a stand alone parking garage on the eastern edge of the existing Barton Memorial Hospital campus in South Lake Tahoe. The proposed wellness building is designed to comply with new health and wellness directives contained in the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (P.L. 111-152), and to meet other health and wellness needs in the community.
