Document Description
The proposed Project is located in the alignment of the East Side Canal in Merced County within the San Joaquin Valley near the confluence of the San Joaquin and Merced rivers. The Project's surroundings consist primarily of agricultural land. The proposed Project consists of construction of a pump station to be located in the existing prism of the East Side Canal at the point where water from the canal is conveyed into a siphon under the Mariposa Bypass and discharge into the East Side Conveyance Canal.
