The Valley Springs Public Utility District owns and operates a wastewater treatment plant serving the needs of the people and businesses located in the District. VSPUD currently serves almost 400 connections (301 residences and 88 commercial users) in the old town portion of the community of Valley Springs, CA. Currently, the population served is estimated to be about 700 people, and the anticipated population within the 20 year planning horizon is 950 people at a 1.5 percent growth rate.
