Document Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) has proposed a fish passage improvement project on Mill Creek at two sites; Ward Dam and Upper Dam. One additional site, the Exposed Siphon was also analyzed in the EA/IS but is not included in the MND or FONSIs. The project includes replacing fish ladders, upgrading fish screens and bypass pipes and implementing improvements at both sites while addressing the water needs of the landowners and owners of the infrastructure. The Project will improve anadromous fish passage upstream (with fish ladders) and downstream (with fish screen/bypass pipes) of the project sites, while addressing the land and infrastructure owner's water needs. The USFWS Anadromous Fisheries Restoration Program is funding the project and serving as the federal lead agency.
